Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the woman linked to the sex scandal that forced former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer to resign is suing 'Girls Gone Wild' adult video founder Joe Francis for more than $10 million for the illegal use of her name and image. In the lawsuit, filed in federal court in Miami, Dupre contends that she was 17 and not old enough to sign a legally binding contract when she appeared partially nude in video footage filmed in 2003 by members of Francis' Mantra Films production company in Miami Beach. On a spring break vacation at the time, Dupre was also drunk when she was told to sign a video "release" form, according to the complaint, which seeks damages in excess of $10 million from Francis and his co-defendants."At the time of these events, plaintiff did not understand the magnitude of her actions nor that her image and likeness would be displayed in videos and DVDs produced and distributed by defendants," the lawsuit says."The defendants have profited from the filming, production and distribution and sale of the videos and DVDs," it added."Defendants created the false impression that plaintiff has endorsed and/or approves of the graphic sexual content, including lesbian acts, contained in the video, which in reality she does not." Dupre was identified in media reports in March as the woman named "Kristen' linked to "Client 9," the frequent patron of a prostitution ring.Spitzer was the unnamed Client 9 cited in a federal affidavit against four suspected ringleaders of the online prostitution ring. Spitzer resigned on March 12 after the story appeared.

Photo Sells For $91,000

A 1993 nude photo of former supermodel and now French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, standing in a pigeon-toed pose and covering up with her hands, was sold at a New York auction for $91,000, more than 20 times its expected price. A buyer for a Chinese art collector bought the black-and-white image, taken by photographer Michel Comte in 1993 during Bruni-Sarkozy's modeling days, Christie's auction house said. The sale of the photo has attracted attention since Bruni married French President Nicolas Sarkozy in February. The photo had been expected to bring between $3,000 and $4,000. It was auctioned as part of a sale of 140 photos from German collector Gert Elfering.

One of Monroe's ex-husbands, the late baseball great Joe DiMaggio, once tried to buy it from the collector for $25,000 but "he would not part with it," according to FBI files on Monroe.

Lohan Sued

A man is suing Lindsay Lohan claiming that she never paid him for the 19 weeks he worked as her bodyguard.David Kim filed a lawsuit in Superior Court against Lohan, her Crossheart Productions and 50 unnamed defendants alleging she employed him for 19 weeks then refused to pay him. Kim, who says he worked as a bodyguard for Lohan has sued her and her company, claiming he is owed more than $55,000 in unpaid wages. A representative for Lohan said that the person had no connection to Lohan. In court papers, Kim claimed breach of oral contract and violation of four California labor codes, in addition to fraud and infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit claimed Kim was hired from October 2006 until March 2007 by Lohan and her agents or employees based on "various oral representations and text messages." He claimed he is owed $4,000 a week for two weeks of 24-hour personal security, and $2,800 a week for 17 weeks of evening duty. Kim said his duties included protecting Lohan from fans and the paparazzi, accompanying her to industry events and obtaining VIP tables at clubs and concerts. Kim also claimed he arranged additional security at various concerts at his own expense.

Campbell left the airport police station just after midnight. Campbell has a history of assaulting assistants and employees. In 2000, she pleaded guilty in Toronto to an assault charge for beating an assistant while making a film in 1998. Under an agreement with prosecutors, Campbell expressed remorse and was released without punishment or a criminal record. In January 2007, Campbell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for throwing her cell phone at her maid in a dispute over a missing pair of jeans. She was ordered to do community service and attend a two-day anger-management program.

When she failed to calm down, airport staff labeled her unfit to fly and requested that she leave the airport immediately. The situation only deteriorated from there.When Campbell refused to leave the airport, airport police were called to the scene to have her removed. One eyewitness said Campbell started screaming, "get off me, leave me alone" before attacking one of the officers. "She attacked a male police officer and spat at him," the witness said. Campbell was restrained and taken to the Heathrow Airport police station. The flight she had been scheduled on departed more than an hour late as airport staff removed Campbell's luggage and entourage from the plane. A British Airways representative confirmed a passenger was removed from a flight this morning, but would not offer any further details. A police spokesman stated that a "37 year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and is currently in detention at Heathrow police station."

Lohan was reported to have thrown a "hissy fit" at the Scandinavia Style Mansion party after spotting an advertisement for Paris Hilton Handbags on the red carpet. Lohan's representative Leslie Sloane Zelnik also claims Lohan would not have attended the event if she had known it was sponsored by an alcoholic drink. In a statement, Francis said he had received an e-mail from Dupre's lawyer Don Buchwald, saying Dupre may have been 17 in the videos shot in Miami and not 18 as Francis had first claimed. In an e-mail to one of Francis' publicists, Buchwald said he was "informed by Ashley that the video was in fact taken when she was underage (that is 17)." Buchwald added in the e-mail that Francis was aware of Dupre's age during the filming. Francis said he bought Dupre a Greyhound bus ticket back home to North Carolina in 2003. Dupre returned home after she spent a week on the "Girls Gone Wild" bus in Miami and filmed seven full-length tapes, which included nudity, after signing legal papers, the company said."It was because she was underage that he sent her home on a Greyhound bus back to North Carolina. It would be outrageous at the very least to play the video of an underage female on the Internet," Buchwald said.Francis said all nude images of Dupre were taken in public places and contain no sexual contact. He added that his company has a "corporate policy" not to use individuals under 18 in their videos. Given this policy, the company delayed the release of Dupre's footage on the Internet. "The company was investigating the matter and will make our decision shortly," Francis said. In the meantime, Dupre was still depicted on the "Girls Gone Wild" Web site, with a free sampling on the front page of her dancing in a bikini.
